I’m pretty much an enigma…

A sinner, yet a saint.

I have a lot of acquaintances, but very few in my inner circle!

My children are a great gift from God, and I am humbled by His generosity on allowing me to being their mother.

I don’t believe it takes a village to raise your children, just parents who aren’t lazy & selfish.

I strive to be a better wife & mother, and I wish there were more role models in society today.

I think we as a people are getting dumber – do we really need GPS  to find our way across town…. really?…. read a map!

Seems like society spends so much time trying to kick God out of schools, then when something happens we question “Where was He?”

I like pearls, argyle, plaid, cardigans and scarves (not all together).

I prefer quality over quantity.

I like the old school European sense of fashion, family & lifestyle .

The more you know the less you need.

I do not like rap noise…. and jazz and big band can get on my nerves.

I’m a romantic and believe good always prevails over evil. That’s the type of movies I prefer!

I like to have beautiful music (that requires talent) in the background (no words) so it becomes the soundtrack to life.

Celtic Thunder is an exception – love their voices!

I do not like the “Walmart”, disposable, plastic, junky society we live in today!

I really like using my grandmothers lovingly worn dining room table and can’t believe when people tell me I need a new shiny unused one!

I don’t really like to watch much T.V.

I’m a Mac not a PC.

I think feminism has led to the decline of our country! And yes, I have lived it, and it’s one of satan’s lies against the family.

I like to embrace my femininity – (not feminism) there is a difference ! I do surprise people because on kayaking or camping trips, I’m pretty resilient, and usually come out ahead … so hang with me!

I like to add a little grace and charm to situations.

I think women should act & look like women and men should look & act like men! There is true freedom this! If you have a problem with that, well, talk to the Creator.

Religion is not that difficult – You were saved over 2000 years ago purely by the grace of God. Believe that!

There is right and there is wrong….period.

Nothing you do will get you to heaven – you play no part in your salvation! Works are a fruit of faith. Grace isn’t grace if you have to meet Him halfway or even some of the way. That is comforting!

You will never figure out all the little details which don’t really change what He did for us – He wouldn’t be God if we could figure Him out.

How arrogant to think we can.

Don’t rely on a book or man to interpret  the Bible for you – major red flag – just read it for yourself !… but read it …often.

The secret to life is being content wherever you are knowing that God is always in control!

If you have an unhealthy lifestyle, well don’t whine about not feeling well, duh!

Use your “good” dishes everyday for your family – who is more important than them?

I have strong beliefs, opinions, and advice – I’m better at giving it to others than applying it to myself.

I tend to be a perfectionist, but I’m working on that.

I have been “career woman”, wife, and mother – and you can’t do it all – sorry – I am a high achiever, but still somethings got to give, and it’s usually family. Hard to hear, I know, but true.

I am not against women working – just don’t let it define you and take you away from your true priorities.

Contentment is found in the simple things.

I don’t feel bad if I don’t blend in or have the political correctness to fit into the world. I kind of take it as a compliment when people say “You’re not from here are you?” – “Well, no”, I say with a smile, “I’m not. I’m just passing through!”
